Kubit, Eneasz
Born in 1983, he studied the accordion and trumpet before graduating from the accordion class of Bogdan Dowlasz at the Grażyna & Kiejstut Bacewicz Music Academy in Łódź, where he has been assistant professor since 2007.
He has given many first performances, notably of works by Hanna Kulenty and Artur Zagajewski. He has appeared on concert stages throughout Poland as well as Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Lithuania, and Ukraine. He has participated in festivals such as Musica Polonica Nova, Sacrum Profanum, New Music Days, Toonzetters a Muziekgebouw aan't IJ, Schiermonnikoog, Gaida (Lithuania), Alkagran in Czechowice-Dziedzice, and the Talents Week in Tarnów, Poland.
He has won awards and distinctions in Poland and abroad, including at Klingenthal, Castel dardo, Pianello Val Tidone, Poprad, Sarajevo, Kyiv, Warsaw, Cracow, Przemyśl, Czechowice-Dziedzice, Sanok, Częstochowa, and Dąbrowa Górnicza. He was awarded scholarships from the Polish Ministry of Culture, Polish Culture Foundation, Polish Prime Minister, and the Young Poland programme.
He plays a Bugari Armando, Bayan Selecta model accordion as well as the first quartertone accordion in Poland.
