Stępień, Jakub (Hakobo)

One of the world’s 50 top poster authors (according to John Foster, author of New Masters of Poster Design: Poster Design for the Next Century). He is equally at home in visual identity, the boundaries of art and design, fashion, and applied graphics. He cooperates with many cultural institutes, including the Art Museum in Łódź, Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle, BWA Design Gallery in Wrocław, and Tate Britain. His highly individual style is inspired both by traditional graphic crafts and street art; his works include simple disciplined designs as well as those inspired by the aesthetics of excess.
