Singer and composer, she graduated from the vocal class of Zdzisława Donat and the composition class of Marian Borkowski at the Fryderyk Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw as well as postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She won the 1st Prize at the Euterpe Competition in Italy (2013, with pianist Michał Pietrzak).
She made her debut at the Grand Theatre in Warsaw as She in Aleksander Nowak’s Sudden Rain, directed by Maja Kleczewska and conducted by Marek Moś. She subsequently performed the second soprano part in Pascal Dusapin’s Medeamaterial, directed by Barbara Wysocka and conducted by Franck Ollu. With the vocal sextet proMODERN, she performed Dariusz Przybylski’s Orphée at the Warsaw Chamber Opera, directed by Margo Zālīte and conducted by Maja Metelska. Her opera roles also include Pamina in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, which she performed in a staging by Jitka Stokalska under the baton of Łukasz Borowicz, as well as Serpina in Pergolesi’s La serva padrona, sung with Sinfonia Artis under Wojciech Semerau-Siemianowski and directed by Natalia Babińska. Her repertoire also includes a number of oratorios, including Mendelssohn’s Symphony no. 2 Lobgesang, Brahms’s A German Requiem, Mozart’s Coronation Mass, Haydn’s The Creation, Józef Zajdler’s Harmoniemesse and Missa pastorita, and Haydn’s Stabat Mater.
As a soloist, she recorded Lutosławski’s Chantefleurs et chantefables and Lacrimosa with the Łódź Philharmonic under Daniel Raiskin (2003), and Zbigniew Bujarski’s Krzewy płonące with pianist David Hojer (2006), both for DUX. She took part in proMODERN sextet’s 2014 CD debut titled Where Are You. Pieces from Warsaw (Sarton), and recorded Paweł Łukaszewski’s Responsoria tenebrae for DUX the same year; these CDs won three Fryderyk Polish phonography awards.
She has participated in numerous festivals including the Mendelssohn Days in Koblenz, Oxford Lieder Festival, Warsaw Autumn, Chain, Modern Music Laboratory, Musica Sacra, Gaude Mater, and Karol Szymanowski Music Days.
