Wings is a purely electronic composition conceived and produced in the GMEB Studio in Bourges in July 1973 (as a GMEB commission). The title can be interpreted on two levels: it refers to the form of the work, contained in a central “body” between two outstretched “wings,” and to the eternal human dream of breaking both body and soul away from the earth.

The entire music material was produced on three SYNTHI synthesizers and combined using a simple mix.
