conductor and teacher. She graduated from the Faculty of Art of the Silesian University and has a PhD in conducting. She has created and led a number of vocal ensembles, with which she has won awards at festivals in Poland and abroad. However, she has won the greatest praise as director and conductor of the City of Katowice Singers’ Ensemble Camerata Silesia, which she founded in 1990. This ensemble of solo vocalists performs both vocal a cappella and vocal-instrumental works under her direction, as well as giving concerts and producing recordings which have all been honoured with prestigious awards and critical acclaim nationally and internationally.
