Dubelski Richard
singer, percussionist. Born backstage at the Alcazar theatre in Marseille, he is the son of a composer and conductor and an actress and singer. He studied percussion and acting with Betty Raffaelli. Currently he works as actor, musician, director and composer. In 1987 he met Georges Aperghis, with whom he cooperated closely until 1992. Meanwhile, he also appeared as an actor in the productions of Thierry Bédard, Lucas Thiéry, Édith Scob, Georges Appaix, André Wilms and Jean-Pierre Larroche. In 1993 he made his debut as theatre director with his own ensemble Corps à Sons Théâtre, marking the beginning of a long series of twenty stage performances on scenes such as Théâtre Nan terre-Amandiers, Cargo in Grenoble, Athénor in Saint-Nazaire/Nantes, La Minoterie in Marseille, the Musica festival in Strasbourg, Théâtre National in Toulouse, the national theatres in Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy, Malakoff, and Aubusson. Richard Dubelski also runs music-theatrical stages and workshops at universities across France. In 2009–10 he was artistic and musical director as well as creator of Kaléidoscope 2, a performance staged at the Opéra de Lyon with the participation of 350 amateurs with the local orchestra and children’s choir. In 2004 he completed his studies at the École Louis Lumière and made documentary films on theatre stagings. In 2008 he directed the short fiction movie Qui tu es?
