Dobrowolska Magdalena
In 2000 she graduated from the Institute of Musicology at the Catholic University of Lublin. As a soloist with the Academic Choir of that university she has performed in concerts in many countries, including the US, Canada, Argentina, Chile, South Africa, Italy, Israel, as well as France, Denmark, Belgium, Germany and Lithuania. She has worked at the Music Theatre in Lublin, where she made her debut as Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof.
She is also a graduate of the Institute of Voice and Acting at the Music Academy in Katowice in the class of Agata Kobierska, and has studied singing with Wojciech Śmietana (Kraków) and Jolanta Janucik (Warsaw). She took part in the Slavonic Song Competition in Katowice, where she won an individual distinction. She has also participated in vocal masterclasses with Jadwiga Romańska, Ingrid Kremling-Domański and Helena Łazarska and Jolanta Janucik at the International Course of Musical Interpretation at Nowy Sącz. As a soloist she has made a number of radio and disc recordings. She has worked with the musicians of the National Philharmonic, Świętokrzyskie Philharmonic, Lublin Philharmonic, Chamber Orchestra of Gliwice, Marek Toporowski’s early music ensembles Concerto Polacco, Sine Nomine and La Tempesta, and the vocal quartet Favola in Musica.
She has also appeared with Christiane Libor, Aleksandra Bubicz, Iwona Hossa, Anna Lubańska, Ewa Marciniec, Agnieszka Rehlis, Małgorzata Pańko, Daniel Kirch, Aleksander Pinderak, Ryszard and Robert Cieśla, Rafał Bartmiński, Jaako Kortekangas, Jacek Ozimkowski, Marek Stefański, Michał Dąbrowski, Mariusz Ryś and Gianluca Libertucci.
Since 2005 she has been a choir soloist at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw.
