Davin Patrick
From contemporary productions to classical works of the repertoire, conductor Patrick Davin has proved his open-mindedness in the musical sphere. He is a former student of Pierre Boulez and Peter Eötvös, and has created a major list of works by composers including Philipe Boesmans, Jacqueline Fontyn, Vinko Globokar, Murray Schafer, Conlon Nancarrow, Henri and Denis Pousseur, Charles Chaynes, Xavier Dayer, Bruno Mantovani, Benoît Mernier, Piet Swerts, James Dillon, Jean-Luc Hervé, Jean- Yves Bosseur, Kris Defoort and Marco Stroppa.

Patrick Davin has been principal conductor of ensembles such as Itinéraire (Paris), Musiques Nouvelles (Belgium) and the Namur Chamber Choir, as well as main guest conductor at the Marseille Opera. Currently he is main guest conductor at the Liège Opera as well as professor of conducting at the Conservatoire of Brussels (Dutch language department).
