Selge Titus
Born in 1966 in Münster, Westphalia. Between 1985 and 1991 he was assistant director at the Stuttgart Staatstheater and the Basel Theatre. He made his debut as a director in 1991 with a staging of Boris Vian’s Le schmürz at the Basel Theatre, followed by performances in Oberhausen, Hamburg, Hanover and Karlsruhe.
In 1994–98 he studied at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg. He went on to make TV productions and series such as Das Amt (RTL), Berlin Berlin (ARD) and Tatort (Hessischer Rundfunk).
In 2010, he started a cooperation with the Neue Vocalsolisten with the staging of Jennifer Walshes’ composition lashings of the old ultra-v. Apart from directing, Titus Selge is active as a scriptwriter and translator.
