Bildbeschreibung - Agata Zubel

The opera is based on a play by Heiner Müller and was commissioned by Klangforum Wien and the Adam Mickiewicz Institute. Its Polish premiere was held during last year’s Warsaw Autumn Festival, performed by the composer as soprano, bass-baritone Frank Wörner, and the Viennese ensemble under the baton of Titus Engel. The concert performance of the opera was recorded by the Polish state television channel TVP Kultura and Polish Radio, in collaboration with PWM Edition and the Polish Composers’ Union.
