Przerwana podróż (Interrupted Voyage)

A film tale about Andrzej Krzanowski, composer and accordionist, whose extraordinary musical journey was interrupted by his untimely death. Hailed as the “Chopin of the accordion,” he elevated the instrument from the status of banquet entertainment to the heights of the artistic Olympus. He also composed brilliant pieces for the accordion, inspired a whole generation of composers to write for this instrument, and influenced many generations of leading Polish instrumentalists.
