Pneumatophones - Krzysztof Cybulski
Pneumatophones are instruments or interactive sound objects whose construction draws on the unchanging, centuries-old technique of building organ bellows. Their shape changes smoothly from a regular tetrahedron to a cube as air is pumped into them by the pedals. Every pneumatophone has valves in its walls. As in the Shruti Box, covering and opening the valves allows to activate or suppress specific pitches that the instruments produce as the air escapes from them.
