Kander, Martyna
Stage and costume designer, she graduated from the Stage Design and New Media Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2012). Since 2014 she has been an assistant at the Academy's Atelier of Costume Design.
She has cooperated notably with Grażyna Kania (Lars Norén's Sebastian X, 2012; costumes for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, 2013), Waldemar Raźniak (Oliver Cotton's Wet Weather Cover, 2013; costumes for Jolanta Janiczak's Queen Joanna the Mad, 2013; Margery Williams's The Velveteen Rabbit, 2014; costumes for Shakespeare's Othello, 2015), Natalia Kozłowska (costumes for Schoenberg's Pierrot lunaire, 2013; costumes for Handel's Agrippina, 2014; costumes for Rameau's Pigmalion, 2015), Tomasz Szczepanek (David Mamet's The Anarchist, 2013), Natalia Babińska (Imre Kálmán's Countess Maritza, 2014; costumes for Verdi's Rigoletto, 2014; Jerzy Kornowicz's The Least Probable Story, 2015; Britten's The Turn of the Screw, 2016), and Marcin Hycnar (David Hare's The Blue Room, 2014; Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, 2015; Petr Zelenka's Tales of Ordinary Madness, 2016; Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale, 2017).
She has participated in several exhibitions such as The International Stage Design Students' Works Exchange at Beijing's National Centre for the Performing Arts (2012), 6D Stage Design at the Silesian Museum in Katowice (2012), Turn of the Century Co stume at the A. A. Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum in Moscow (2015), and Dimensions of Stage Design at the Silesian Museum in Katowice (2016).
