Inspired by the work of great Danish composer Per Nørgård and our own percussion experience, we shall attempt to answer these questions during our concert. In our tale, we shall refer to Nørgård's works, including I Ching. Familiarising young listeners with music composition procedures shall allow them to better understand larger works and grasp clear structures in the apparently autonomous world of modern sounds. We shall illustrate the intricacies of combining rhythms and tempos with the amazing instruments that compose the Indonesian gamelan. ere will be colours and space, rhythms and proper tempos.
