Neuromusic (interactive sound installation)

Neuromusic is an interactive sound installation (with visualisations) based on the measurements of mind activity in persons attached to an electroencephalograph (EEG). Changes in sound parameters and sound colour are related to changing levels of the users’ relaxation, attention, or agitation. The aim of this installation is to allow visitors to experience the activity of their own brains. Therefore the authors gave up any elements of composition. All the rhythmic, harmonic, and “melodic” structures result from the transformations of EEG signals.
