Muschiol, Katharina
She graduated in puppeteer in 2011 from the State Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart, graduating with a performance of einraum (dir. Joachim Fleischer, 2011). She has participated in numerous international projects such as Der Gruwächter (2009), Woyzeck (dir. Yehuda Almagor, 2010), Prologue (with Iris Meinhardt, dir. Michael Krauss, 2010), and Wölfe (dir. Michael Vogel, 2011). Since March 2011 she lives and works as a freelancer in Leipzig. She has organised numerous cultural events (including KUKS arts and cultural summer) with the E35 association.
Her main focus is on interdisciplinary collaborations, including puppet theatre productions, where she has been involved as a performer as well as assistant director (Faza REM phase, dir. Michael Vogel, 2014), animated films, performances (White Radiation, dir. Joachim Fleischer, Switch the Light On, shown at Luxembourg Philharmonic), and sculptural works. In 2009 with Maik Evers and Stefan Wenzel, she has founded the theatre company Gruppe K, whose latest production is Schaum der Tage (dir. Hendrick Mannes, 2016).
