Niedziałek, Michał

He graduated from the orchestra and opera conducting class of Ryszard Dudek and the percussion class of Edward Iwicki at the Fryderyk Chopin Music University in Warsaw. He gives numerous performances as an orchestral and chamber musician as well as a soloist. He has performed, among others, with the Warsaw, Olsztyn, Lublin, Kielce, and Rybnik philharmonics, Sinfonia Varsovia, Witold Lutosławski Płock Symphony Orchestra, and the international orchestra Spirit of Europe. In 2008–14 he played in the Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra. He is the founder and artistic director of the Żyrardów Beat Percussion Orchestra. He has performed at numerous Warsaw Autumn concerts as well as other festivals in Poland, Japan, China, Russia, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, and Austria. He has cooperated with the Fryderyk Chopin Music University (as assistant conductor), Sinfonia Iuventus (as conductor), and Dramatyczny Theatre in Warsaw (as music coordinator and percussionist in a production of Boris Godunov). He took part in the sound production of CDs with works by Krzysztof Penderecki and Romuald Twardowski, and conducted the Sinfonia Iuventus in the world premiere recording of Karol Kurpiński’s complete opera The Castle of Czorsztyn (DUX 2013). He also took part in the international concert celebrating the 5th anniversary of the opening of new Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Egypt (2007).
