Born in 1986 in Filderstadt, he studied singing, the piano and the violin as well musicology and music informatics with Thomas Troge and Denis Lorrain at the University of Music in Karlsruhe, majoring in composition and computer music. His interests have encompassed contemporary music as well as sound design for film and audio drama, composition of film music, acoustic recording techniques, and sound direction. For many years he has cooperated with the Centre for Art and Media (ZKM) in Karlsruhe, where he contributes to many concerts and CD productions. He has worked for the SWR, ARTE, the Film Academy in Ludwigsburg, the ensembles Artakt, TEMA, and Interface, big band Jazzfaktor 18, choir Cantus Juventum, sound studio CCLive, and the Holzschuhverlag. Since 2014 he has cooperated with the composer Jagoda Szmytka, notably at the Vienna Modern festival and the Summer Courses in Darmstadt.
