Born in Pabianice, Poland, in 1986. Composer and music theorist. She graduated with distinction from the Bacewicz Music Academy in Łódź in the composition class of Bronisław Kazimierz Przybylski (2010) and the music theory class of Ewa Kowalska-Zając (2011). She then enrolled on a two-year postgraduate course in film, computer and audiovisual art in Łódź. She attended masterclasses run by Marek Chołoniewski (Music Academy in Cracow) and Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil (Music Academy in Wrocław). In 2013 and 2014 she participated in the SYNTHESIS composition courses in Radziejowice, Poland under tutors such as Miguel Azguime, Mauricio Sotelo, Mauro Lanza, Zygmunt Krauze, Paweł Hendrich, Alessandro Solbiati, Paul Patterson, and Chen Yi.

Her works have been presented notably at the Łódź Philharmonic (contem.ucha cycle), the S1 Studio of the Fryderyk Chopin Music University in Warsaw, at the music academies of Gdańsk, Cracow, and Łódź (Music Moderna session).

In 2014 her work aer for bass clarinet/clarinet and chamber orchestra was performed at the final concert of the AŻ Festival organised by the Music Academy in Łódź. In October 2010 her installation Pieces of Chopin After A Bottle of Wine was presented within the What After Chopin? project at Propaganda Sztuki Gallery in Łódź. Marta Śniady has also cooperated with Małgorzata Moneta and the Kwartludium and ElettroVoce ensembles for the photography exhibition Nano at the FF Gallery of the Łódź Arts Centre.

She has won the 1st Prize at the Tadeusz Ochlewski Composition Competition in Cracow and 3rd Prize at the competition organised for the 60th anniversary of the Music Academy in Gdańsk. Between 2009 and 2014 Marta Śniady cooperated with the Dziennik Łódzki daily and the Glissando monthly. Currently she is junior lecturer at the Łódź Music Academy where she is pursuing a PhD under the tuition of Agata Zubel.
