A meeting with contemporary music and with an ensemble performing works by Polish and foreign composers approached from an unusual angle: only for children. The workshop will present the frequently complex works by outstanding contemporary composers, normally performed by Kwartludium on international stages for “adult” audiences, from a completely new perspective – in the eyes of a child. We will go through the looking glass into the world of the artists’ inspirations and imagination. We will listen to excerpts from the compositions while observing the planets in motion, walking on the sand, taking a glimpse of the secret world of the composers’ childhood, as though we were peeping into a magic box. The question is: what will the White Rabbit say to this?
The composers whose works (or their fragments) will be played by Kwartludium are: Eduardo Moguillansky, Matthias Ockert, Sławomir Wojciechowski, Dariusz Przybylski, Jagoda Szmytka, and Aleksandra Gryka.
