Dudek Adam

Multimedia artist. Born in 1964 in Dąbrowa Górnicza, he studied visual communication at Cracow’s Academy of Fine Arts, at the Graphics Department in Katowice. He creates video art and photography, designs multimedia installations, and directs shows. His works are inspired by music.

His creations have been presented in the Grand Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw, the National Museum in Poznań, the Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Warsaw and at the “Warsaw Autumn” International Festival of Contemporary Music.

He is the author of, among others, the film Odyssey 2006 (2006) with music by Tadeusz Wielecki, the video installation Opera Proibita / Jacek (2008) with music by Paweł Mykietyn, the video for Salvatore Sciarrino’s opera Luci mie traditrici, staged during the Nostalgia Festival in Poznań (2009), and the video installation Revolutionary Etude (2010) presented at the new seat of the Chopin Museum in Warsaw (a cooperation with Boris Kudlička). In 2012 he received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.

He lives in Jabłonna on the outskirts of Warsaw.
