…hoc… (Mark Andre)
consistently opens new sound and compositional spaces. The work is an interpolation of sounds that are essentially noise-like, non-harmonic or harmonic, determining its formal coherence.
The use of electronic sounds allows to develop a few categories of unusual “impulses-and-answers”: for example, cello pizzicatos trigger a resonance on the tam-tam.
The consistent use of this technique allows for the discovery of new compositional and affective domains.
