I am interested primarily in the process of sound creation, especially in singing. Thanks to the possibilities of live electronics, phenomena relative to the forming of sound, its degradation into hiss, the articulation of vowels and consonants, the physical effort of performers, their intimate breathing, are observed as if in a magnifying glass, electroacoustically reinforced, spatialised and subjected to a number of timbral modifications. These hiss interventions section the continuous vocal line, which nevertheless remains comprehensible as the basic layer of the entire piece. The premise of the work, therefore, is not the movement of sound in space but primarily the construction of abstract musical space from multi-layered juxtapositions at varying degrees of proximity and detachment. The musical space is created from a combination of sub-spaces and levels that differ in tempo, rhythm, timbre, complex intonation, lasting simultaneously in their own vibrations and shaping differently in time. In this way, the sound space loses its staticity and melts. In this work, with analogy to spatial procedures, the point is to overcome the linearity of time in favour of a contrapuntal shaping of time.
