Jünger Fabrice
Born in 1972, graduate of the conservatoires in Lyon, Villeurbanne and Geneva in the classes of flute, chamber music composition, analysis, aesthetics and electroacoustic music. Composer, performer and teacher of contemporary music. Since 1992 he has been collaborating with Ensemble Orchestral Contemporain (director: Daniel Kawka). He has appeared as soloist in many countries of Europe and Asia. In October 2009 the CD with his interpretations of works by Hugues Dufourt received the Diapason d’Or prize and was nominated for the Victoires de la Musique 2010 award. Both as composer and performer he is eager to use the latest computer technologies in processing and composing sounds. An important element of his work involves educational projects for children and young people, aimed at raising their social awareness, sensitivity and openness to culture and aesthetics.
