Colourful Penis (Festspielhaus Hellerau Dresden) and
The Cricket Recovers (Elephant) by Richard Ayres, directed by Pierre Audi.
He sang the title role in
Orfeo in India, a production in which Monteverdi’s
L’Orfeo was performed partly on south Indian instruments. This production was performed several times in India and will come to Holland in 2012. Arnout Lems made his debut as a director in
MonteverdISH, a large production which combines excerpts from Monteverdi’s
L’Incoronazione di Poppea with hiphop and breakdance. This production received widespread acclaim in the Dutch press.
