Szostak, Anna

Conductor and teacher, she graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music of the University of Katowice. She holds a postdoctoral degree in conducting. She has established and led several vocal ensembles, with which she won prizes at Polish and international festivals. She has gained the greatest recognition as the leader and conductor of the Katowice City Singers’ Ensemble Camerata Silesia, which she established in 1990. Under her guidance, the ensemble, made up of singers–soloists, performs both a cappella and vocal–instrumental works, earning critical acclaim in Poland and abroad.
