Cybulski, Krzysztof
Musician and sound artist. He combines analogue, digital, acoustic and mechanical elements to create interactive sound objects and instruments. Winner (with panGenerator ensemble) of the Polityka weekly’s 2018 Passport Award in the category of digital culture, and of an honorary mention in the 2017 Prix Ars Electronica for “digital musics & sound art.” Semi-finalist (twice) and finalist of the Margaret Guthman Musical Instruments Competition at the Georgia Institute of Technology (2014, 2015, 2016). He has contributed to events such as the Future Innovators Summit/Ars Electronica Festival (2018), Athens Digital Art Festival (2018), International Conference of New Interfaces for Musical Expression in Denmark (2017), Ars Electronica (2017), Warsaw Autumn (2016), Musica Polonica Nova (2018), WRO Media Art Biennale (2015), Ad Libitum (2015), Audio Art (2018), and Instalakcje (2015). He has collaborated with artists such as Robert Curgenven, Krzysztof Knittel, Anna Zaradny, Norman Leto, and Sławomir Wojciechowski. He has received artistic scholarships and grants from the Capital City of Warsaw (2019), Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2017), and the Composing Commissions programme (2013, 2015). Member of ensembles: Lomi Lomi (Lado ABC), 4way Quartet (Karrot Kommando), and Cybulski/Lipiński/Szuszkiewicz.
