Błaszczyk, Bolesław

Musicologist, columnist, cellist of the musical cabaret The Moz'Art Group. He popularises the achievements of the Polish Radio Experimental Studio, currently researching the work of Andrzej Bieżan and Bohdan Mazurek. He cooperates with independent record labels and is the producer of the late compositions of Eugeniusz Rudnik. For Polish TV, he has directed Gene, Save!, a documentary about Rudnik (2008). As an improviser and member of the Intuition Orchestra, he has performed notably with Grażyna Auguścik, Zdzisław Piernik, Marcin Krzyżanowski as well as Tadeusz Sudnik and Włodzimierz Kiniorski. He has worked as an arranger and composer since the 1980s, notably for groups such as Legendarne Ząbki, 997, Sernik Zamordowany Wkrótce Nielegalny, Dezerter, Kryzys, and Świetliki. In 2008-13 with Maciej Łabudzki, he run the Otwock office / gallery. On a commission from New York's Museum of Modern Art, he has edited a bibliography of the Polish Radio Experimental Studio.
