Bargieł, Liwia
Dancer, choreographer, she graduated from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London. She has authored choreographies for stage shows such as bordel fORmiDaBLE!!! | ExtravaGAnza, Queen Joanna The Mad, and Othello (directed by Waldemar Raźniak), Brazilian Tales (directed by Marcin Hycnar), and Demon Teatru, czyli mniejsza o to (directed by Andrzej Domalik).
In 2012, 2014, and 2016 she was an award winner at the Residency/Premiere competition organised by the Żak Club in Gdańsk, where she staged shows such as O mnie i trochę o Tobie, Love Song (duo version), and Szron/Frost.
Since 2012, she has cooperated with the Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw. She has authored the stage motion for the graduation plays Ecce Homo (directed by Krzysztof Majchrzak) and The Master and Margarita (directed by Waldemar Raźniak). In 2015, she prepared her own play, Illuminations.
As a dancer, she has appeared in Metamorphoses in a choreography by Carolin Finn, Hommage à Tadeusz Kantor by Mikołaj Mikołajczyk, Family Affair of the Zimmer Frei collective, and The Railway Opera by Grzegorz Laszuk (Komuna Warszawa). She is also active in interdisciplinary projects.
In 2014, she cooperated with the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology, where she prepared the performance Glow. In 2015, she authored two exhibitions with visual artist Marta Mielcarek: Initial–Vertical Position and Nullpunkt.
