Wawrzynowicz, Marcin

He graduated in music therapy from the Music Academy in Wrocław (2005) and from the class of Anna Serafińska at the Department of Jazz and Popular Music, Music Academy in Katowice (2009). Since 2010 he has taught at the Institute of Jazz and Popular Music, University of Applied Sciences in Nysa, and since 2013 at the Department of Composition, Interpretation, Education and Jazz at the Music Academy in Katowice. Since 2007 he has cooperated with the Rozrywka Theatre in Chorzów. He has released two CDs dedicated to his own projects: Missa Pacis and Camamey, and has contributed vocals to numerous recording projects, including to Jacek Niedziela-Meira’s album Zjesienniony, nominated for a Fryderyk Award in 2012. He has worked with leading Polish jazz musicians including Henryk Miśkiewicz, Jerzy Główczewski, Piotr Baron, Grzegorz Nagórski, Robert Majewski, Wojciech Niedziela, Anna Serafińska, Michał Barański, Paweł Tomaszewski, Paweł Dobrowolski, Łukasz and Paweł Golec, Tomasz Grabowy, and Zbyszek Lewandowski.
