Lixenberg, Loré

British singer (mezzo-soprano) and director, specialised in opera, concert music, and musical theatre. She has cooperated with the SCENATET ensemble since 2007, when she directed a staging of Mauricio Kagel’s Staatstheater. Her version of Salvatore Sciarrino’s Infinito nero is a stage interpretation with musicians and a solo singer. In Lixenberg’s interpretation, Mary Magdalen de’ Pazzi is shown as a very intelligent woman, marking a departure from former renditions of the work where that Italian mystic was represented as a lunatic.
