In 1999 the Bifrons Foundation initiated Flash, a DVD project whereby visual artists and composers were invited to realize audiovisual productions, resulting in nine DVDs.

Each composer was asked to make a very short “flash” not lasting much longer than a minute as part of a larger work.

For my “flash,” I used a talking stopwatch, counting down from one minute to zero and added all kinds of samples and purely electronic sounds.
