New Music: New Audiences. Final conference of the European project
New Music: New Audiences (New:Aud) is a European project for the promotion of new ways of getting new music to new audiences. Over two years, thirty-two contemporary music ensembles and eighteen institutions from seventeen European countries looked for innovative ways of drawing the public to new music. The repertoire of the concerts came from a bank of compositions, collectively worked out by all the projects’ participants. Each ensemble played in its country, presenting works supplied by the other international partners. The project now ends with a conference summarising the effects of two years of activity. It is organised at the Warsaw University Library by the Warsaw University Institute of Musicology and the POLMIC Polish Music Information Centre.
Organised by POLMIC Polish Music Information Centre, Institute of Musicology of Warsaw University
