studied horn playing at the University of Michigan. Since 1990, she has resided in Germany, where she has worked with orchestras as such Hofer Symphoniker, WDR Symphony, NDR Symphony, Deutsche Opera Berlin, Gürzenich Orchestra in Cologne. She has also worked with the Royal Flemish Philharmonic, Belgium. Member of musikFabrik since 2004, she took part in this ensemble’s project for the development of a new instrument: the double-bell horn. She also performs with Ensemble Modern and as a jazz musician with e.g. the Roman Schwaller Nonet in Munich.
